The issue of the cut-off DevTools at the top is still present in this release unfortunately.

@genegold: Just did it again. Several tabs open, click on + to open a new tab and instantly the splash screen is playing and a new sessions starts (w/o all the open tabs). It's happened every day since I installed this version.

@genegold And again 55 minutes later. It seems to happen when there's a lot of tabs open, but so far I've not been able to replicate it intentionally. Certainly having to use History a lot.

@genegold: And again, in the process of closing tabs, at the third remaining, clicking on the 'X' did it. Something is screwy.

On windows version, spacing above tabs, on the top of window is not awailable.
This option does not work any more

This option is available in the settings of the browser (windows version) :
              Réglages (Alt + P) > Navigateur > Interface utilisateur

@genegold: During the 3-4 hour session Opera crashed/instantly restarted 6 times, all the result of either trying to open or close a tab.

Now again the same problem but on the Stable Version like I had on the beta. >>problem on YT with HD 1080 higher streams / videos, opera switch from 1080p back to 720p or lower, with this new version. I try firefox with the same videos and there was no problem. please fix this. << thats weird!

Look at what you have written in opera://gpu.
If there is software accelerated everywhere, then try turning on the chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist
                      Should help

@genegold: This goes on and on: in SUMo pro, I just now with a right click opened the MS Teams website. The flash screen (and sound) ran, but there was no evidence of Opera closing, as the same tabs remained open. I have no idea what's causing this, but it is specific to this build of Opera 102.

@genegold: Tip! To get rid of the annoying splash screen, you can delete opera_gx_splash.exe file from the installation folder

Youtube framerate is also lower. On Edge it works but on Opera the videos are janky. Another quality "feature" of the stable release

Also, if I want to comment here on the Opera website with an Opera account, if forcibly changes the browser's sync account. That's just unfortunate. It should be two separate things.

Not very stable! It sometimes crashes if I open a new tab!

Thanks for those helpful words added to this thread 🙄

Since Opera made the move to Chromium I have been using Vivaldi in parallel. It has it's problems too, but they listen to their users and beta testers. I still like Opera and would love to keep using it so I hope they get their "stable" release process straightened out. If I was really "done" I wouldn't take the time to post in these forums to try to get Opera to fix things ...

Thanks for posting this but it has already been mentioned numerous times. Also it only works 1 time -- once Opera updates you will need to do it again. However Opera has told me that they will have the flag to turn it off available in a soon future release (as well as a fix for the "O" menu rendering problem - finally!!)

Did the general post for 102 changelog get deleted? I had it in my opened tabs waiting for the fixes to come and now I'm getting a 404
